Flash Vocal — Subtraction is now on Android
The subtraction tables from −1 to −10, never a negative answer, in the same order as addition: the child answers out loud, the app validates, with no connection needed. On Google Play.

Flash Vocal — Subtraction is on Google Play. A subtraction appears, the child says the answer out loud, the app listens and validates. It has been on iPhone and iPad for a few days already.
The same table, read backwards
"9 − 4". For a child who doesn't know it yet, that means counting down: 8, 7, 6, 5, on their fingers, going backwards. Yet subtraction has a ready-made answer: a child who knows that 4 + 5 makes 9 already knows that 9 − 4 makes 5.
That is why Flash Vocal — Subtraction follows the tables in the same order as Flash Vocal — Addition. A child who has practised the +5 table finds the −5 table is the same table, read backwards. And because they answer out loud, at a steady pace, there is no time to count down: they recall the fact, or the hesitation can be heard.
Never a negative answer
Every subtraction goes from 1 − 1 to 20 − 10, with an answer between 0 and 10. No traps, no numbers "below zero" that a six-year-old doesn't know yet: only the number facts they need to know by heart.
The path
- All ten tables, from −1 to −10, each in two halves (answers from 0 to 5, then from 6 to 10), then its review.
- Cumulative reviews that mix everything learned so far.
- One-minute sessions, stars at the end, and the time of each answer in the statistics.
38 steps, for ages 6 to 8, including bridging through ten.
On Android
The same app as on iPhone and iPad, entirely offline: the child's voice never leaves the device, with no ads and no account. Sixteen languages.
Tables −1, −2, −3 and the first half of −4 are free, with no time limit, for one profile. The Family (3 profiles) or Education (30 profiles) subscription opens the rest.
