Privacy policy

In short

• No account, no sign-up, no personal data sent to the publisher.
• Voice is processed on the device: the speech-recognition engine is embedded, nothing is sent over the Internet, no recording is kept.
• Profiles stay on the device: first name, level, progress and history never leave the phone or tablet.
• Subscriptions are handled by Apple and Google: the publisher sees no payment data.
• No ads, no tracking. Only anonymous crash reports are sent, to fix bugs.

Data stored locally on your device

To work, the apps let you create child profiles (first name, school level or chosen method, possibly a date of birth) and record the results and progress of sessions. This information:

• is saved only in the local memory of your device;
• is never transmitted to AKISTO SOFTWARE nor to any third party;
• is neither backed up nor synchronised on any server of the publisher;
• remains under your exclusive control: you can delete it at any time (see “Deleting your data”).

Speech recognition

The apps use the microphone to assess answers spoken out loud. Voice processing is carried out entirely on the device: the app embeds its own speech-recognition engine (Vosk), which works without any connection, on iOS as on Android.

• No voice data is sent over the Internet, neither to AKISTO SOFTWARE, nor to Apple or Google, nor to any other third party;
• No audio recording is kept: the voice is analysed in real time then immediately discarded;
• The microphone is only used during sessions, after your explicit permission.

Subscriptions and in-app purchases

Subscriptions are purchased and managed exclusively through the App Store (Apple) or the Play Store (Google). AKISTO SOFTWARE neither collects nor stores any payment data: the transaction is fully processed by Apple or Google under their respective privacy policies. The app only checks, technically, the validity of your subscription with the platform.

Crash reports (diagnostic data)

The apps include the Sentry diagnostic tool (Functional Software, Inc.), which sends a technical report in case of a crash as well as anonymous performance measurements: device model, OS and app version, technical trace of the error. These reports contain neither child profiles, nor any voice data, nor any personal identifier; they are not linked to your identity, are not used for advertising and serve only to fix bugs.

Advertising and tracking

Flash Vocal apps contain no advertising, no ad network, no tracking SDK and no third-party usage analytics. No advertising identifier is collected.

Daily reminder (notifications)

The optional daily reminder is a local notification scheduled by the app on the device. No remote notification service is used and no data is transmitted.

Children

Flash Vocal apps are educational apps meant to be used by children under the supervision of a parent, teacher or speech therapist. Accordingly:

• The app collects no personal data about children: the profiles created are stored exclusively on the device and are never sent to the publisher;
• Installation, configuration and any subscription must be carried out by an adult. Use by a minor implies the consent of their parent or legal guardian, in accordance with the end user licence agreement;
• The app contains no advertising, no communication between users, no social-network sharing and no outbound link reachable by children without an adult’s action.

Deleting your data

Since your data is stored locally, deleting it is immediate and final, with no request to AKISTO SOFTWARE:

• you can delete each profile individually from the app;
• “Reset all data”, in the “Help & Info” screen, erases all profiles and results;
• uninstalling the app deletes all data it stored.

Your rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction and objection, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with the CNIL.

For app data, these rights are exercised directly from your device, as AKISTO SOFTWARE holds no copy of your data. For any other request, contact us at support@akisto-software.com.

This website

flashvocal.com is a static website with no account and no data-collection form. It sets no tracking cookie; the browser only remembers the chosen language (local storage). The host may keep technical logs (IP address, requested page) for security and service operation.
